Edge spent 13 years with WWE before retiring due to injuries in 2011.

Adam Copeland makes his first appearance as Edge for WWF television at a RAW taping. His match with Jose Estrada would air on the June 22nd edition of the show.

Up to that point, Edge had been portrayed through vignettes as a loner who aimlessly walked around the city streets and assaulted innocent pedestrians.
Before retiring due to serious neck injuries in 2011, Edge would go on to capture 11 world championships, 14 tag titles, King of the Ring, Money in the Bank, and the 2010 Royal Rumble.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st, 2012.
