Solie was play-by-play announcer working for Georgia Championship WrestlingChampionship Wrestling from Florida, USA Championship Wrestling, Continental Championship Wrestling, and World Championship Wrestling during the course of his illustrious career.

He is regarded as one of the most influential wrestling announcers, if not arguably the greatest of all-time.
