The Great Muta defeats Sting in a no disqualification match to win the NWA World Television Championship.

Muta,behind the tutelage of manager Gary Hart, would hold the title until January 4th, 1990 (121 days), when he lost the belt to Arn Anderson on an episode of  NWA Power Hour.
