20 years ago today, Rob Van Dam captures the ECW World Television title from Bam Bam Bigelow, beginning a record-setting, 700-day championship run.

Not only did Van Dam have the longest title reign of any titleholder in ECW company history, he would also never actually lose the ECW TV championship. He was forced to relinquish the belt on March 4, 200,when he could not defend it due to an injury.
