Antonio Inoki presents the World Wrestling Peace Festival, featuring representatives from New Japan Pro Wrestling, WCW, AAA, EMLL, AJW, Michinoku Pro, UWF-I, and Pancrase all competing on the card

The show featured a tag team match with Antonio Inoki and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Dan Severn wrestling Yoshiaki Fujiwaraand Oleg Taktarov.

One of the featured bouts on the undercard was a title match between WCW World Heavyweight Champion The Giant and Sting,

The event had an attendance of 5,964, and was used as part of an effort to raise money for wrestling and judo programs in Los Angeles-area high schools.

At the end of the show, he was presented a PWI Lifetime Achievement Award senior editor, Bill Apter.
