TODAY IN PRO WRESTLING HISTORY… NOV 7th: A Big Step for TNA

DATELINE: NOV. 7, 2004  – THE IMPACT ZONE – ORLANDO, FL


TNA holds their first full-length pay-per-view, entitled Victory Road, officially leaving behind the ‘Wednesday Night Era’.

The company had originated in June of 2002, by hosting weekly events for $9.95 that were generally around two hours in length. They survived in this format until landing a weekly, television contract with FOX Sports. From this point forward, TNA would begin the standard, monthly PPV format.
