FORBES: What Hulk Hogan’s Reinstatement could mean for WWE 2K19


After a three-year suspension, pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has been reinstated to the Hall of Fame. That would likely mean it’s possible for Hogan to again be included in WWE programming and even in future WWE video games – including the upcoming WWE 2K19.

On Sunday, just hours before the start of the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, the WWE announced its decision to lift Hogan’s suspension stemming from racial slurs used in a now infamous sex tape.

After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame. 

Hogan hasn’t appeared in a WWE video game since WWE 2K15, which was released in 2014 and the mobile game, WWE Immortals, released in 2015.
