FORBES: WrestleMania 36 Moved To Performance Center In Orlando Amid Coronavirus Concerns

wwe-raw-vince-december-17-2018-1WWE has finally come to its senses and changed the venue for WrestleMania 36 amid increasing concerns of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

WrestleMania will now air at the WWE Performance Center on April 5, 2020, instead of the previously planned venue of Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

Said WWE in a statement:

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”
