FORBES: WWE Plans On Continuing A Major WrestleMania 36 Feud


shaynaWWE breathed some new life into Raw’s women’s division with the additions of NXT call-up Bianca Belair and the returning Nia Jax this week, but the red brand is still sticking with one of its top women’s feuds following the biggest pay-per-view of the year.

According to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer (h/t Wrestling Inc), the WrestleMania 36 rivalry between Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler is far from over:

“Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are plans for the Baszler vs. Lynch feud to continue. The finish of the Baszler…match [at WrestleMania 36] was reportedly done to protect Baszler. It wasn’t clear if Baszler vs. Lynch will continue into the next WWE pay-per-view, Money In the Bank on May 10, but WrestleMania 36 wasn’t the last we’ve seen of these two going at it.” — Wrestling Inc

WWE’s decision to have Baszler lose to Lynch in her first high-profile singles match was seen as quite the head-scratching one.
