1984 – The Nature Boy Ric Flair & The American Dream Dusty Rhodes are announced as the competitors in the ‘One Million Dollar Challenge’ and have a stare down on stage in Greensboro.

The match would take place at Starrcade 1984 (sanctioned by Jim Crockett Promotions/National Wrestling Alliance) in Greensboro Coliseum, with former heavyweight boxing champion  Smokin’ Joe Frazier serving as the special referee.
