The two powerhouse organizations are partnering in the battle against cancer.
Louisville-based Ohio Valley Wrestling and the Susan G. Komen Foundation will come together for a public service campaign to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
During the month of October, OVW will symbolize this partnership by using pink ring ropes. And, a portion of ticket sales from its Tuesday Night Fightmare event on Oct. 29th will be donated to Komen Kentucky.
“Breast cancer impacts so many people on so many different levels,” OVW executive Chad Miller said. “The Gladiator Sports Network and OVW are proud to partner with the Susan G Koman organization to help raise awareness and funds to help find a cure. We continue to support this organization, even past October 29th, because no one is safe from Breast Cancer.”
OVW also released a video, featuring promoter Al Snow and several of the company’s stars, discussing how cancer has affected their friends and loved ones, and pledging support for the cause:
