The greatest wrestling champion of television’s Golden Era, Lou Thesz, dies of complications from heart surgery. The former six-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion held the title for a combined a total of just over ten years ( 3,749 days)

Thesz was 86 at the time of his passing.
