TODAY IN PRO WRESTLING HISTORY… AUGUST 25th: The Beast’s Dominance is Undisputed

DATELINE: AUGUST 25, 2002 – NASSAU COLISEUM – UNIONDALE, NY

Brock Lesnar defeated The Rock to win the WWE Undisputed Championship. At the time, the victory made Lesnar, at 25 years old, the youngest world champion in WWE history. That record would be broken by Randy Orton just two years later.

Lesnar would hold the Undisputed Championship until November 17, 2002 (84 days) when he lost the belt to The Big Show at Survivor Series.
