Sherri Martel makes her World Wrestling Federation debut, defeating the Fabulous Moolah for the WWF Womens Championship 

A former AWA World Womens champion performing as ‘Sensational’ Sherri Martel, she would become the first woman to have held both company’s titles. She would reign as the WWE Womens Champion for more than a year (441 days) before losing it to Rockin’ Robin.

Sherri passed away on June 15, 2007, at the age of 49.
