The Miracle Violence Connection – Terry Gordy and Dr. Death Steve Williams – defeat The Steiner Brothers to win the WCW World tag team championship

The match would air on WCW Saturday Night on July 11, 1992. Gordy and Williams would win the NWA World Tag Team Championship a week later, and then defend the ‘unified’ World Tag Team titles, until the eventual withdrawal of WCW from the National Wrestling Alliance.

  1. No, they held them until they were defeated by Dustin Rhodes and Barry Windham in October. WCW withdrew form the NWA a year later.
