TODAY IN PRO WRESTLING HISTORY… MARCH 5th: The Hardys and Dudleys battle for Gold & Glory

DATELINE: MARCH 5, 2001 – MCI CENTER – WASHINGTON, DC

On RAW is WAR, Matt and Jeff Hardy re-capture the WWF World tag team titles from The Dudley Boys, continuing their classic series of violent battles

In what would be defining moments in each of the six men’s careers, the Dudleys and Team Extreme, along with Edge and Christian, helped re-define high impact wrestling in the WWF. As they would trade the tag titles over the span of three years, the trio of teams would go on to create some of the most violent and intense moments of the company’s ‘Attitude Era”.
