DATELINE: OCT 31, 1979 – NAGOYA, JAPAN


Shohei ‘Giant’ Baba defeated Harley Race to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

After originally winning the belt in 1975, Baba and Race would trade the title twice during a tour of Japan… leaving Baba as a three time title-holder, but with only a combined 19 days as champion.
