TODAY IN PRO WRESTLING HISTORY… JUNE 28TH: Mankind and The Undertaker face off in Hell in a Cell

DATELINE: JUNE 28, 1998 – CIVIC ARENA – PITTSBURGH, PA

At the WWF King of the Ring pay-per-view, one of the most violent and memorable matches of all time takes place between The Undertaker and Mankind (Mick Foley).

In two iconic moments, Mankind is thrown off the Hell in a Cell cage, and then recovers, only to be chokes-lammed through the cage for his troubles. The match mercifully ends with the Undertaker victorious, but Mick Foley forever emblazoned in wrestling and pop culture lore.
