“Outlandish” Zicky Dice is becoming one of the most noticeable – and busiest – men in two separate worlds: professional wrestling and music.

“Dude, I don’t even know how the hell I’m doing it,” Dice told us in an exclusive interview discussing his dual careers. “I’m just so grateful every time I think about it and when I start talking about it. This is really happening! It’s not a dream anymore, it’s more of a reality. So the only thing I can do is just go.”

Most pro wrestling fans know Zicky Dice as the brash, cocksure and…well, outlandish NWA Television Title contender and persistent thorn in the side of RIcky Starks on recent episodes of NWA Powerrr. Dice’s other love also became evident earlier this month with the release of “Heartbreaker,” the new EP from his band Heart To Heart, out on In Vogue Records.

The time it took for Dice to go from famine to feast in both industries did not happen overnight. The impetus came during childhood as professional wrestling was ingrained in him early on.

But a tragic incident would turn Dice away from pro wrestling and to the world of music. “After my pops passed away in a car accident, I kinda got over it,” Dice said. “I found punk rock and hardcore and started a band.”

Dice formed Heart to Heart in 2009 and toured the country with his band. It was a performance in Iowa where he made friends with a prominent performer who he kept up with over the years.

“I texted Seth Rollins, who I met on the music scene at a few of the shows,” Dice recalls. “I messaged him and said, ‘Hey dude, I want you to train me.’ His exact response was, ‘Hahahaha, are you serious?’ I said,  ‘I am going to be better than you are one day.’ And he said, ‘I will see you May 1.’ That was about five years ago, almost to the day”

Dice began his professional wrestling training and career in 2015. “I wrapped up the tour, went home, packed up my stuff and went to Moline, IL to train at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy.”

Dice has appeared on stage and in the ring all over the country, including for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, the NWA as well as a recent debut for AAW out of Chicago, IL. As his music is honest and raw, Dice’s pro wrestling persona is a throwback to those characters he grew up watching, easily enabling him to stand out in today’s in-ring driven landscape in pro wrestling.

According to the Outlandish one, the future is wide open – and all in his hands.

“I really want to push the limit,” Dice said. “I feel like I’m finally at the right stage where I need to be and the rest is in my hands.”
