Kim shares her story of fighting her way through a business dominated by men…Professional Wrestling Promoter.
She was made fun of, shunned and no one would have blamed her if she quit…but she didn’t. She persevered and now owns and operates one of the only women owned professional wrestling organizations, as well as writing blogs in the athletic field.
Kim Artlip is the owner/promoter of IGNITE Wrestling. One of only a handful of women owners in professional wrestling in the world, she is dedicated to empowering women in male-oriented industries. In addition, she is a weekly columnist at the Gorilla Position, magazine publisher, author, former talk radio host and a 2018 Jr Women’s League Woman of the Year Nominee.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
