FORBES: Bray Wyatt Denies Report That WWE Will Make ‘The Fiend’ More Family Friendly


WWE-The-Fiend-Bray-Wyatt - EditedBray Wyatt is refuting a report that WWE is looking to “tone down” the frightening nature of his alter-ego “The Fiend.”

After Wyatt defeated Finn Balor at SummerSlam two weeks ago, reports indicated that WWE planned on keeping Wyatt’s sinister new character off TV purely in order to make him feel more special. The idea was for Wyatt to only show up every now and again, essentially functioning as a part-time draw like Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Triple H or any other major star who isn’t on TV every week or even every month. But another report suggested that WWE could be facing a difficult situation when it comes to Wyatt, in particular the presentation of “The Fiend.”
